Scene 1

EXT. DAY. OUTSIDE

Music starts, plays along establishing shots of the city

Scene 2

INT. DAY. CLASSROOM

The main character (NICOLE) is speaking to her close friend

NICOLE: I’m really worried; my mum’s drinking is getting really out of hand.

FRIEND: I’m sure it’s not that bad

NICOLE: You don’t understand.

Scene 3

EXT. DAY. OUTSIDE (OF SCHOOL)

Two girls are walking out of school (NICOLE and CLOSE FRIEND) out of the gate. An old friend (RAMONE) is leaning against a gate outside and calls them over.

RAMONE: YO B

NICOLE: Where’ve you been since you got kicked out?

RAMONE: Just been hustlin’, here’s my number. Link me at this party tonight.

Nicole: Hmm I’ll think about it, see you ‘round

Scene 4

EXT. DAY. OUTSIDE

NICOLE is walking home from school, music plays alongside.

Scene 5

INT. DAY. AT HOME

NICOLE arrives home and has a heated exchange with her MUM

NICOLE: I’m home

*silence

NICOLE: What are you doing?

MUM – slurred speech, drunk: Did you get your brother and sister from school?

NICOLE: They’re not my kids

MUM shouts something at NICOLE and throws something at NICOLE

INT. DAY. AT HOME

NICOLE goes up stairs to her room and texts RAMONE, then goes back downstairs to her MUM

MUM: Where you goin’?

NICOLE: OUT!

Nicole leaves and slams door behind her

Scene 6

EXT. DUSK. OUTSIDE UNDER BRIDGE

NICOLE goes to meet RAMONE under a bridge

RAMONE: ‘Sup, B

NICOLE: Where we going?

RAMONE: I’ll look after you

Then they walk away

Scene 7

INT. NIGHT. HOUSE

NICOLE and RAMONE walk in to a house where there’s a party going on, with people taking drugs and drinking. Nicole gets led into drinking and taking drugs, by RAMONE. Party music is playing

INT. DAY. HOUSE

It’s the morning after the night before, NICOLE is passed out and LIAM is trying to wake her

LIAM (frantically): Wake up! C’mon Nicole! Wake up!

NICOLE: Oh god!

Scene 8

INT. NIGHT. DRAMA STUDIO

There’s a party going on NICOLE gets really drunk and stumbles into a toilet to take cocaine, loud music is playing

Scene 9

EXT. NIGHT. STREET

RAMONE is giving drugs to NICOLE

RAMONE: I need my money!

NICOLE: I’ll sort something!

                                        

Scene 10

EXT. DAY. INSIDE SHOP

NICOLE is looking suspiciously around the shop. She steals money from the tills whilst the shopkeepers back is turned

Scene 11

EXT. DAY. STREET

NICOLE is running down a street looking suspicious, sounds of heavy breathing and amplified heartbeat can be heard. RAMONE grabs her from behind

RAMONE: I need my money, bitch!

NICOLE: screams

EXT. DAY. STREET

LIAM runs up and punches RAMONE in the face. They fight a little with NICOLE frantically screaming and crying in the background

Scene 12

INT. DAY. BEDROOM

Music changes, NICOLE is half naked in a bed, and crying silently. MAN stands up, and does up his trousers.

INT. DAY. BEDROOM

NICOLE is half naked in a bed, and crying silently. MAN throws  some money behind him on the bed

Scene 13

INT. DAY. BEDROOM

NICOLE is crying whilst rummaging frantically through draws looking for pills.

Scene 14

INT. DAY. BATHROOM

NICOLE steps into a bathtub fully clothed

INT. DAY. BATHROOM

LIAM in running frantically up the stairs and bursts into the bathroom with a horrified look on his face.
